Designed especially for homeschool families in Palm Coast and the surrounding areas, our program offers a dynamic blend of hands-on, child-led classes, creative clubs, and unforgettable events that spark curiosity and nurture confidence. At The Homeschool Haven, we believe that education should be joyful, meaningful, and tailored to each child’s unique strengths and interests. Our enrichment days are filled with engaging activities, collaborative projects, and opportunities for students to explore, create, and connect—both with their peers and with passionate educators who truly care. Whether families join us for one or two days a week, they become part of a warm, supportive community that celebrates individuality, encourages critical thinking, and champions experiential learning. Registration for each semester opens just before classes begin—and trust us, you won’t want to miss it! We announce specific registration dates through our social media pages, email updates, and our newsletter, so be sure to stay connected. If you’d like to be added to our email list or receive our newsletter, just send us a quick message—we’d love to keep you in the loop! Because we care deeply about creating the right environment for every child, we ask that all new families attend a tour or open house with their child before enrolling. This special visit gives your family the chance to explore our welcoming space, meet our passionate team, and get a feel for how we bring learning to life through hands-on, child-led experiences. It’s also a great opportunity for us to learn more about your child’s personality, interests, and learning style, so we can ensure a great fit and meaningful experience for everyone involved. Once registration opens and you’ve attended a tour or open house, you’ll be ready to head over to our Admissions page and officially reserve your spot in the classes that excite your family most. We’re currently welcoming students from Preschool through 8th grade, offering a wide range of enriching, hands-on classes designed to inspire curiosity, creativity, and a love of learning at every age. Whether your child is just beginning their educational journey or growing into their tween years, our program is thoughtfully designed to support their development in a fun, engaging, and meaningful way. But we’re just getting started! As our community continues to grow, so do our dreams. We’re actively working toward expanding our offerings to include high school programs and even parent education classes—because learning doesn’t stop at any age, and we believe the entire family deserves opportunities to grow, connect, and thrive. The Homeschool Haven is a drop-off program, so we aren’t able to accommodate additional adults in the classrooms beyond our dedicated staff. This approach is inspired by Montessori’s philosophy that too many adults in a learning environment can actually disrupt a child’s focus and independence. Keeping the classroom environment streamlined helps our instructors teach more effectively and allows students to explore and learn with confidence and minimal distractions. Additionally, our space is designed specifically for hands-on, child-led learning—so it’s important to keep the classroom comfortable and manageable for everyone involved. That said, we love involving families in meaningful ways! There are plenty of opportunities throughout the year for parents and caregivers to join us for special events, open houses, and community gatherings where you can see firsthand the amazing projects, creativity, and growth happening in our classrooms. We look forward to welcoming you into our vibrant learning community!

Our classes meet twice a week — Tuesdays and Thursdays! Families can choose to join us for one or both days, depending on what works best for their schedule.

We believe that children thrive in mixed-age environments where learning feels natural and collaborative. While we always honor each child’s unique pace and abilities, we also trust in their incredible capacity to grow when given the right environment. Rooted in the philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori, our mixed-age classrooms offer meaningful benefits. Younger students gain knowledge and confidence by watching and learning from older peers, while older children develop leadership skills and empathy as they support those around them. It’s a dynamic and nurturing setting where everyone learns, teaches, and grows together.

We believe that learning doesn’t have to come home in a backpack. In fact, homework can sometimes put unnecessary strain on relationships—between children and their parents, and between families and teachers. At The Homeschool Haven, we deeply value the time children spend at home. We believe those hours are best used for developing life skills, enjoying meaningful conversations, exploring the outdoors, pursuing personal interests, relaxing, and simply being kids. Research continues to show that homework doesn’t significantly boost academic performance—and can often lead to stress and a negative outlook on learning. That’s why we choose to keep learning joyful and engaging during the day, and let home time be just that—home.

Every educator we bring on board goes through a rigorous interview and vetting process, including a federal background check. We carefully select those who not only bring knowledge and creativity to the table, but who also serve as positive role models and trusted guides for the children in our community.
